Course Introduction
-
Modern dentistry has evolved to the point where training in only one specialty is no longer sufficient. Patients' high aesthetic expectations demand complex, multidisciplinary treatment plans. To address these effectively, it is essential to understand what each specialist can contribute, how to prepare the case, and when each professional should intervene. This requires knowledge of the techniques and materials available in each area, ensuring smooth communication among team members.
-
Throughout the course, we will introduce a work protocol for addressing cases where dental proportions (“shapes”) are altered and need restoration. Although there are multiple dental configurations (interincisal proportions) that are valid from an occluso-functional perspective, not all achieve the optimal harmonic balance required to meet the high aesthetic demands of our patients.
